The Owen Group, Inc. (TOG) is now an approved DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) provider! One of only a handful of security firms certified and accredited under this prestigious program.

Along with the DITSCAP provider status, TOG has signed significant contracts with:
    Department of Defense (DoD)
    Inspector General of the Department of Defense (IG, DoD)
    Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)
    Microsoft

TOG works with Gartner Group, providing consulting for their updated Regulatory Compliance Planning Guide and Security Risk Management Guide.

TOG is an official provider of Information Systems Consulting, Systems Management, Network Management, and Systems Procurement for the International Olympic Committee, proving services for the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, and the 2012 Summer Games in London.

In collaboration with DHS, DISA, NSA, USAF, and Microsoft, TOG has worked with NIST to provide resources for testing, implementing, and deploying the Microsoft Windows XP and Vista Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) baseline.

The Federal Desktop baseline provides an excellent and easy means for an organization to quickly assess the security of their personal computers. While most organizations will not opt for the complete protection offered by the FDCC, it is a very good place to start.
